Scotland’s Climate Assembly has released the recommendations for action report. The assembly was made up of over 100 citizens from all walks of life. The members of the assembly were tasked with examining expert evidence and agreeing recommendations for tackling the climate emergency. A key factor was that actions must be fair and effective.
The full report: Recommendations for Action as laid in the Scottish Parliament on 23 June 2021. The report sets out 81 recommendations which were agreed by consensus, and calls for bold and urgent action now.
