The Eco Savvy community shop opened its doors on 19 April 2014.  The opening of the shop reinvigorated premises that had previously been unused for many years.  The shop is within a building that was constructed in the early 1900s by the present owner’s grandfather.  Over time, the shop premises had been used as a Drapers, a Tobacconist and a Post Office and still retains some of the lovely features that are reminders of its previous lives! It had been empty and unused for many years before the Arran Eco Savvy Community refurbished it to open our new shop.
