What is a Zero Waste Cafe?
A mobile ‘cafe’ which pops-up in different villages across the island weekly. It’s aim is to get local, seasonal, affordable produce to people, support local growers. It also helps reduce food waste and packaging! As well as reduce the need for travel, help the environment and celebrate food and community. You can find out more information about our Zero Waste Cafe here, including what we stock in our zero waste dispensers.
What is an Active Travel Hub?
We’re really sorry, but due to current funding gaps our Active Travel programme is temporarily paused until September 2026. Thank you for your patience and continued support, we’ll be back soon!
What are Health Walks?
On offer are StrollWithIt! and Nordic Walking programmes run by North Ayrshire Council’s The Trinity Active Travel Hub in collaboration with KA Leisure’s Walking for Health Project which organises regular walks on Arran lead by trained local volunteer health walk leaders.
