A mobile ‘cafe’ which pops-up in different villages across the island weekly with the aim to get local, seasonal, affordable produce to people, support local growers. It also helps reduce food waste and packaging, reduce the need for travel, help the environment and celebrate food and community. The Eco Hub is open on Tuesdays between 11-3 pm. Here you can pick up infromation about all our services including eBike loans, bike repair and maintenance, The Arran Community Bike Library, Bike Buddy Scheme, adapted bike sessions, Arran Lift Share Club, and walk programmes.
We have a varied heath walk programme at Arran Eco Savvy, which has a something for everyone approach. Twice monthly we have Nature walks focusing on Arran’s flora and fauna. We also offer buggy walks and end of work week social walks.
We also offer the StrollWithIt! and Nordic Walking programmes run by North Ayrshire Council’s The Trinity Active Travel Hub in collaboration with KA Leisure’s Walking for Health Project which organises regular walks on Arran lead by trained local volunteer health walk leaders.
