Arran Eco Savvy hosted a pop-up event on the 12th December! The Savvy Vintage Thrift Shop pop-up was a delightful blend of vintage treasures, second-hand clothing, soulful tunes, and a touch of festive crafting.
Second Hand Splendor at Savvy Vintage Thrift Shop Pop-Up
Racks of vintage clothing from the Eco Savvy shop were on offer at the event. Everything from quirky accessories to classic leather jackets. As well as records, retro lamps and more!
The Savvy Vintage Thrift Shop encouraged people to give second-hand this Christmas.
We’re all about giving pre-loved items a second chance and reducing waste, so hopefully folk who came along left not only with unique finds but also with a sense of fulfilment in contributing to a more eco-conscious lifestyle!
Wreath Making with Juliette
For those seeking a calming, hands-on festive experience, Juliette hosted a wreath-making workshop. The Ormidale Pavilion was buzzing with creativity as folk weaved with willow and were spoilt with choice with holly, pinecones, and dried flowers – to craft their own wreaths.
Grooving to the Sounds of Biff and Tom!
Adding a harmonious backdrop to the evening, we had live music from the talented duo, Biff and Tom! We were all tapping our feet and singing along to their amazing rendition of Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’…
Mulled Apple Juice
The Zero Waste Cafe team served up some delicious mulled apple juice and baked goods to get everyone in the festive spirit.
Looking forward
We’re hoping to host many more events like the Savvy Vintage Thrift Shop Pop-Up to bring the community together. Let’s continue to celebrate the joy of living a more conscious lifestyle, and the magic that happens when we come together!
Stay tuned for future pop-ups and events that promise to weave more tales of nostalgia, sustainability, and community spirit.
