Pop-up Zero Waste Cafe at the Pavilion

We will be hosting a pop up Zero Waste Cafe from 12pm – 4pm.

There will be a tasty soup, healthy baking, refreshments, our zero waste range and local produce available.

We will also have a recipe sharing table and seed swap available.

As ever on a Tuesday we will have a range of ebikes available for you to have a scoot about on.

We will also have our new ecargo bike available for trials.

We can also give your bike a maintenance check and provide free bike security tagging. Gerard will be on hand to answer any questions about our ebike loan scheme (which is free!).

Join the Health Walk

Exploring the south part of the Fisherman’s Walk and historic Douglas Row.

The walk is 1.8 miles, mostly flat and includes pavements, paths that may be muddy in places and a board walk. 

Meet at 11am at the Ormidale Pavilion. 

The walk is free but we ask that you pre-book your space by emailing StrollWithItArran.ecosavvy@gmail.com or phone 01770 860 427.

Health and Wellbeing Activities

We will have lots of things happening and lovely people to talk to:

  • Arran Repair Cafe, will be offering garden tool maintenance – bring your tools down for Michael to have a look at
  • Some awesome people from Heather Lodge will be offering COMPLIMENTARY HEAD/SHOULDER MASSAGES!! and you can chat to them about the therapies on offer at Heather Lodge
  • Arran Geopark will be there to tell people about the exciting plans afoot for Arran to become a UNESCO Global Geopark. They also have some cracking events planned for over the summer, have a look here

From 2-4pm: Arran Well-Being Cafe CIC will be running a wellbeing session including mindfulness and outdoor games. Everyone can get involved!

Energy Performance Certificates and home energy

Andrew from Eco Savvy will also be on hand to chat all things energy.

He can talk through Energy Performance Certificates, why and how to get one and will also have some energy saving devices and appliances to demo and for people to have a look at.
