We’re embracing sustainability this National Recycling Day Join us in supporting a greener future by giving items a second life! In this blog, we’ll take a look at:

Arran Eco Savvy Shop in Whiting Bay

At our Arran Eco Savvy Shop, we help give donated items a second chance. We enable Arran’s residents to make use of these items, whether through repair, reuse or upcycling. The Arran Eco Savvy Community Shop is located in Whiting Bay and is run entirely by a team of amazing volunteers. We also have an online shop, click the link below to check it out.

The Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC)

Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC) restores and sells furniture in Irvine, creating jobs and reducing landfill waste. The recycling process is simple yet impactful. You donate your unwanted furniture at the Brodick Household Waste Recycling Centre, and CFRC works its magic. They restore the donated items and make them available for sale at an affordable price.

Support a Greener Future: How You Can Get Involved

Donate unwanted items: Clean out your home and donate anything you no longer need or want.

Spread the word: Encourage your friends, family and neighbours to join in. The more people involved, the greater the impact we can make together.

Shop sustainably: Consider buying sustainable items from Arran Eco Savvy Shop in Whiting Bay and on our online shop.

As we celebrate National Recycling Day, let’s remember that our small actions can create a ripple effect of positive change. By giving items a second life, we not only minimise waste but also nurture a sense of community and environmental responsibility.
