Wednesday 19th August
Wednesday 2nd September
Wednesday 16th September
Our autumn fundraiser is on Friday 23rd October and more details will be available nearer the time.
If you are interested in taking part again or joining us for the first time please get in touch and let us know. We want as many skills involved as possible
Everyone is welcome to pop in and get involved, it will be free and for all abilities.
The purpose of this event is to learn skills enabling everyone to find a use for items previously thought of as waste eg : ripped clothes, blankets past their best & unwanted fabric. All can be up cycled into useful and decorative items when you have the skill.
We hope to share knowledge on a wide range of subjects and help each other learn. We hope everyone who took part last time will come along again.
We will be joined this time by volunteers working on the Woollen Woods event this May. Roots of Arran are taking a table and sharing willow weaving and will show us more about their project. NTS Rangers from the castle are joining us and will be sharing ideas and skills to help those who would like to take part in Woolen Woods. There will be the opportunity to try knitting, crochet, felting and a range of non-knitting projects on the go with experienced crafters from groups like “Spin off”
