A New Message from Eco Savvy

Big Climate Conversation

Give the Scottish Government your climate change opinions!

Come along to a Big Climate Conversation being held in the Eco Savvy offices at Home Farm, Brodick on Thursday 19th Sept at 2pm. The session should last around 1 hour 15 minutes. Refreshments (cake!) will be provided.

The session will include a discussion about ways the local community can reduce the emissions that cause climate change, and prepare for a changing climate. The event is part of a series of Climate Conversations initiated by the Scottish Government and are taking place all over the country.

Feedback from the conversations is reported back to the Climate Change policy team at the Scottish Government so this could be a very direct and powerful way to get Arran folks’ environmental opinions and ideas heard and may actually inform future policy.

As Big Climate Conversations will be taking place all over Scotland we have to adhere to strict conditions when hosting this event, including the amount of attendees in each session, we therefore ask that you let us know if you would like to attend so that we can keep track of numbers.

We know many of you have strong opinions, anxieties and frustrations surrounding the climate crisis and we would love it if you came along so that we can tell the Scottish Government what we think is important for our community and for Scotland.
