Eco Savvy Re-use Micro-Hub Managers
we are recruiting a hub manager in each of the following locations
Kildonan, Kilmory, Shiskine/Blackwaterfoot, Pirnmill, Lochranza, Corrie/Sannox, Brodick & Lamlash
Eco-Savvy is an environmental charity on the Isle of Arran, working towards making Arran a greener and more sustainable island. The charity has been awarded a grant by the Climate Change Fund and the European Regional Development Fund to establish eight micro-hubs, so creating an island wide network of reuse and up-cycling sites.
We are now seeking enthusiastic motivated people with a good knowledge of their local community to manage these hubs.
You will need good communication and organisational skills, be IT literate, with an understanding of spreadsheets & word documents. Social media skills would also be helpful but not essential. Your objectives will be to motivate your community & gather supporting volunteers.
The job is a fixed term contract for 10 months working 8 hours per week (may include some weekend and evening work). The pay rate is £11.50 per hour.
